Dry Wash Anglers

Originally from back East, the Dry Wash Anglers grew out of a mutual need for more fishing, bluegrass and George Jones in 2022. With guitarist/vocalist Joel Leland, songwriter/vocalist/guitarist Hank Abbey, Katy Colville on bass, and Corrine Gary on fiddle, the Anglers channel the harmonies and hot flatpicking of a pantheon of heroes; Carter Stanley, Larry Sparks, Billy Joe Shaver and more. Stem to stern, Abbey, Leland and Colville nurture a respect for the familiar sound that shaped them but aren’t shy of the deeper waters of their own original music.
