SUMMARY:Nancy McCallion & Danny Krieger
DESCRIPTION:The daughter of an Irish-Scots immigrant and a Texas farm girl\, McCallion grew up in Tucson. She heard — and was obviously influenced by — the Norteno sounds of her Southwest side neighborhood\, her older sister’s Beatles’ records\, and 1970s and 1980s radio rock\, mixed with her dad’s Irish trad and her mother’s Texas old-time country. Throw in adolescent Bob Dylan\, Elvis Costello and Pogues fixations and the cultural stew emerged as The Mollys’ drop-jaw repertoire. McCallion has continued to write and has resumed performing live and recording as a solo performer after The Mollys disbanded. \nKrieger is a well-respected guitarist/slide-guitarist throughout the Southwest. His musical resume includes worldwide tours with British pop band “Christy” in the early ‘70s and numerous recording sessions with a variety of artists ranging from Exene Cervenka to the late Andy Gibb. He’s worked with Big Joe Turner\, Coco Montoya\, Johnny Rivers\, Smokey Wilson\, and Eric Burdon. Originally from L. A.\, Krieger has also toured with Debbie Davies\, Sam Taylor\, The Mollys\, Eric-Jan “Mr. Boogiewoogie” Overbeek\, and John “Juke” Logan.

SUMMARY:Dan McCorison
DESCRIPTION:Dan McCorison\, cut his teeth in the thriving folk music scene of his home town\, Denver Colorado. During his high school years his family moved first to Detroit and then on to North Carolina which allowed him to experience firsthand\, some of the great roots of American music. \nShortly after college Dan returned to his native Colorado where he and a couple of new friends formed his first band\, Dusty Drapes and the Dusters. Known for sure fire country music and Western swing\, The Dusters were soon touring\, headlining packed shows and opening for the likes of Merle Haggard\, Willie Nelson\, Flatt and Scruggs and Linda Ronstadt. \nAlong the way\, Dan was discovered by Chris Hillman of The Byrds and Flying Burrito Brothers. Shortly after leaving the Dusters\, Chris arranged for Dan to be signed to MCA Records and produced the resulting highly acclaimed album featuring Emmylou Harris’ Hot Band. Eventually\, Dan’s trail led to Nashville where he lived for twenty years writing and recording with some of the finest writers and musicians in country music. \nHe has performed in Japan\, Australia and Europe as well as the US and Canada. He and his wife\, June\, now reside in Arizona with their trusty dog Daisy. He is a regular performer at the beautiful Rancho de Los Caballeros in Wickenburg and travels extensively to play shows around the Southwest.

SUMMARY:Miss Devon and the Outlaw
DESCRIPTION:Devon Dawson\, aka ‘Miss Devon’ \nHailing from Fort Worth\, Texas\, Miss Devon is a top entertainer in western music\, and has been recognized by the Academy of Western Artists as the Female Performer of the Year 2009.  She’s noted for her vintage sock-rhythm guitar style\, and warm ‘swingtime cowgirl’ vocals\, which bring to mind legendary B-western ladies of the silver screen\, Dale Evans\, Rosalie Allen\, Patsy Montana\, etc.  Like them\, her lively persona intrigues and engages both kids and adults in her audience.  She holds a Grammy certificate for her participation as the singin’\, yodelin’ voice of Jessie\, on the Walt Disney CD\, Woody’s Roundup featuring Riders in the Sky\, which was the follow-up to the movie\, inspired by the characters of Toy Story 2.  She has performed in and out of that character coast-to-coast\, and all across the American West\, including at the renowned Grand Old Opry in Nashville\, Tennessee\, and at Pixar Studios in Emeryville\, California. \nJessie Robertson\, aka ‘Outlaw Jessie Del’ \nWhen this western gent joins Miss Devon on the stage\, things get more fun than puttin’ socks on a rooster.  According to witnesses\, he’s the rowdier half of the duo\, and he got his name ’cause\, as Miss Devon says\, “It’s plumb illegal what he does with Milk Cow Blues!”  Like all outlaws\, Jessie has been known to disappear into at least a dozen alias personalities\, so watch him close!  With fine tenor-to-baritone vocals (sometimes favorably compared to those of Tommy Duncan)\, added to some swingy saxophone rides\, a little sleight of hand\, and a LOT of charm\, this rascal just might make a clean getaway with yer funny bone.

SUMMARY:Michael Grande
DESCRIPTION:Michael Grande\, one of the world’s beloved entertainers is returning this weekend. \nGrande\, who tours the world\, only performs in Cochise County twice per year. A singer-songwriter and virtuoso guitarist\, Grande brings laughter and tears to audience members as he moves from exciting instrumentals featuring his famous five-fingered picking technique and breathtaking guitar flourishes to his gentle\, almost caressing of the strings\, as his sexy\, smooth voice\, tells tales of soldiers\, families and the great depression. \nBut if the song is a sad one\, the mood is uplifted immediately by Grande inserting songs and stories of friends\, family and animals: a little girl’s first horse\, the loss of a stray dog that became a hero to a family it saved\, and the romantic love story of an Arabian stallion and mare. \nIn between songs\, Grande is known for his tales. Growing up in an Italian family\, he tells of being a child in Brooklyn\, N.Y.\, where he used to tie the tail of his coonskin cap to his bicycle and pretend it was a horse as he raced through the mean streets of Bensonhurst.  In his mind and his dreams\, he was always a cowboy\, and he was always in Arizona.
