Hello and Happy First Week of Spring! We have some updates for you regarding our performance schedule.

Sat., March 26 . . . Tim Wiedenkeller, extremely talented and versatile musician from Tucson, Arizona, will be performing . . . we know so many of you have been awaiting his return to the Arizona Folklore Preserve. Tim sings and plays guitar, mandolin, trumpet . . . and banjo . . . banjo that has rather become his trademark. He plays extraordinarily beautiful classical banjo . . . most of which are his own compositions. Along with a wide variety of music, Tim will be playing some of his banjo compositions this weekend which are featured on his eagerly-awaited, just released CD entitled "Milagros". Tim's performances are always unique and well loved by our audiences . . . don't miss him.

Sun., March 27 . . . We will be closed in observation of Easter. Happy Easter to all.

Sat. & Sun., April 2 & 3 . . . We will be closed for the weekend. Maybe this is a bit selfish on our parts, but we just can't help it! Dolan Ellis, who most of you know was an original member of the New Christy Minstrels, will be performing in Queen Creek, Arizona on Sat., April 2 with the Christy Minstrels in a reunion concert . . . we'll all be there. In fact, we just learned that ticket demand has been so active, they've just added a second concert to be performed on Sun., April 3. Sat. & Sun., April 30 & May 1 . . . Brenn Hill, 2004 AWA Male Vocalist of the Year . . . Here's another weekend you absolutely don't want to miss. This most charming young man from northern Utah is a model representative of the new generation of western music's best traditions. Not only is Brenn an extraordinary singer, songwriter, musician, and performer, but he is a passionate outdoorsman and lover of the West. His CD, “Trail Through Yesterday,” was named Album of the Year 2001 by the Academy of Western Artists (AWA) and was given the Crescendo Award (Rising Star) by the Western Music Association (WMA) that same year. He has been nominated for several other awards in his bright, young career and was awarded the prestigious Male Vocalist of the Year 2004 by the AWA. His latest CD, “Endangered,” has already produced two top-20 hits on the Texas western music radio charts. For those of you who saw him perform at our Cochise Cowboy Poetry & Music Gathering kick-off events here at the Preserve in February, you know that his voice stays with you for a long time.
